Leveraging Canada's northern climate to develop next-generation, energy-efficient, and water-free digital infrastructure.
TruNORTH Technologies is designing sustainable, high-performance digital infrastructure in Canada's sub-arctic regions. Our mission is to deliver resilient, energy-efficient, and environmentally responsible compute capacity for enterprise and institutional workloads.
Naturally cooled year-round with ambient air temperature. Water-free, low-carbon design.
Cold-climate optimized for efficiency and reliability, powering research, AI and institutional workloads.
Built to support critical digital operations. Geographically, geologically, and politically protected.
High-performance direct air-cooled data centers in the North. New milestones for Canadian government, institutions, and industry. Sustainable, ultra-efficient, water-free operation.
Critical data remains protected under Canadian law.
Quantifiable carbon reduction and zero water use.
Sustainable, high-tech development in Northern Canadian communities.
More affordable computing for Canadian business, government, and research.
Our model leverages the subarctic climate as a source of free cooling, eliminating water use, and targeting efficiency.
PUE
Our entire system—from site selection to facility configuration—is being designed to achieve this efficiency benchmark, ensuring over 83% of all incoming power is dedicated purely to computation.
Air-Cooled
By using filtered ambient air as the primary cooling method, we will eliminate the need for water-intensive evaporative cooling, and energy-intensive mechanical cooling.
OpEx Cut
Our efficiency target slashes the largest OpEx—energy—creating a defensible business model with superior margins, while making high-performance compute more accessible.
Water Used
Our environmental leadership will be engineered in. Direct air cooling eliminates water consumption of traditional data centers, safeguarding our most vital resource.
We are defining the specifications for our first operational prototype. This module will empirically validate our cooling performance and operational resilience. Its successful deployment will establish the technical foundation for a full-scale expansion.

🗝️
De-risk Investment
Generating the bankable data required for scaling.
Once proven, our platform unlocks a circular future for Northern communities—capturing waste heat for local use and integrating with renewable microgrids to become clean energy hubs. This makes the digital economy compatible with a stable climate. Efficiently designed systems and water-free operation will enable growth in the digital sector while safeguarding our planet.
This sovereign and sustainable foundation will be a strategic enabler for Canadian businesses and institutions: providing sovereign data jurisdiction for regulated industries, quantifiable ESG compliance, and affordable high-performance compute for AI and research to thrive within Canada.
Concurrently, we will catalyze sustainable, long-term industrial growth in the North by creating high-tech, high-value jobs in remote monitoring, network engineering, and facility management. This builds a critical talent pipeline and ensures the "sovereign wealth" generated by this infrastructure circulates within and strengthens Northern and Indigenous communities.
We are creating the net-positive foundation for a resilient, competitive, and sovereign digital economy.
TruNORTH Technologies is seeking collaborators, advisors, and forward-thinking partners to explore opportunities and help build next-generation, high-performance, water-free compute capacity.
For a next-generation digital future.
