truNORTH Technologies is a Canadian cloud infrastructure venture. We are creating a network of ~200kW regionally adapted facilities — powering cloud workspaces that bring data sovereignty to Canadian professionals. It’s all computers that live somewhere, owned by someone. Strip the branding and that someone is almost always the same: a U.S. hyperscaler’s software, run by a U.S.-domiciled company, sitting under U.S. law.

We understand the work ahead is integration. This component schema is able to adapt to various regions, leaning on the local climate instead of fighting it.
Executed successfully, the payoff will compound over decades: millions saved across a facility's lifecycle, far less load on dirty grids, and the freedom to build where conventional data centers can't.
None of our thinking is new. Long before mechanical heating and cooling, architects read the climate and let it do the work — orienting, venting, and storing heat so the structure itself stayed comfortable.
Climate isn't a problem to overcome; it is a resource to design around. We intend to drive that instinct further with modern engineering, extending it from cooling to on-site renewable electrical power.
Cool air is drawn in, filtered, and carried through the racks, then exhausted by the building's own convection — the ground and the sun standing in for compressors. Across most Canadian climates, that runs the cooling load the large majority of the year.
The same architecture re-tunes to every site — a Pacific-coast node is engineered differently from a northern-interior one. Each facility is shaped to the land it sits on, and designed with the partners who hold it.
We intend to begin with one facility in British Columbia and expand into a connected provincial, then national, platform — each node regionally adapted, co-owned with its community, joined through one sovereign cloud.
